Unflawed

I am learning to love something imperfect — does the bigger picture

Only looks beautiful when you step back?

There’s nothing to change,

Only beauty to behold. The smile I’ve always cared for

Is more concrete than our past moments.

On the wall a photograph

In shades of gray and off-white

And the book with missing pages to match

.
