Past

I’m not the type who cries over and over

For finished things and words unsaid;

Not even for painful memories, not even those

.

.

.

He didn’t even close the door when he left — without a word, he walked away.

It stayed open,

But I’m not the type who walks back to the past.

I leave doors shut

And my eyes open and dry,

Perplexed and lying

    1. Hi there, Kathy. Thank you!
I’ve been quite sick, but now I’m starting to recover (finally). I’ve been busy too. Wish I wasn’t, I should blog more often.

      How are you?

  1. I’m finally doing better. Taking a sabbatical from relationships has done wonders. It can be lonely at times, but there are far fewer issues to deal with :) I’ve been given the go-ahead to start trying to wean myself off my meds soon. Yay!

    1. That is fantastic news, especially about the medication! :) I think I was on three the first time we talked. I’m only on one at the moment (an antidepressant). I’m really happy to know you’re doing better. I’m still a bit confused like always, but dropping two meds has made me feel a lot better.

  2. I’m glad to hear you are on fewer meds. That’s progress for sure. I feel that they cloud my mind. I want full control of my faculties again. Are you going to be teaching again?

    1. Thank you, Kathy. Sorry for the delay, I didn’t get the notification for some reason.
Yeah, I’m still working :) I love teaching, I think it helps me to keep my sanity despite the chaos hahaha!
